As a new patient, you will be asked to complete a patient information sheet. This information is necessary to serve you completely and will be held in the strictest confidence.

Dr. J. B. Bitar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship in the field of cardiovascular medicine at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.Dr. Bitar has been in cardiology practice since 1989. Before coming to Florida, he practiced cardiology in Lafayette, Indiana for ten years. He has special training and interest in acute intervention of myocardial infarction. He is dedicated to providing compassionate and top quality care to his patients.

Dr. Magda E. Sanchez, MD, FACC

Specializing in Prevention, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Intervention of Cardiac Disease
Dr. Magda E. Sanchez is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Adult Cardiology. Prior to coming to Central Florida, Dr. Sanchez practiced cardiology in Kissimmee offering general and invasive cardiology services.Dr. Sanchez completed medical school at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine in San Juan. She did her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Adult Cardiology at the University Hospital in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Sanchez is dedicated to helping her patients and the public, understand the prevention, treatment, and intervention of heart disease. She is committed to providing top quality and personal care to her patients and their families.
Dr. Sanchez is a Member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), ACC Florida Chapter, ACC Women in Cardiology Section, The Pan-American Medical Association and the Seminole County Medical Society.
Dr. Sanchez is fluent in English and Spanish. She has particular interest in preventative cardiology and women with heart disease.

CARDIOLOGY
Cardiology is the study of the heart and it's functions. A cardiologist is a physician skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease including hypertension, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmia, and high cholesterol. Cardiology Care Services services include:
EKG, Stress Treadmill, 2-D echocardiography, Stress Echo, Color Flow Doppler, Pacer Analysis, Holter Monitoring, Coronary Angiography/ Cardiac Catheterizations, PTCA/Stent, , Throbolysis.
TELEPHONE POLICY
In general, we feel it is not possible to practice the best medicine over the telephone. When a telephone call is necessary, please explain the problem and your needs as accurately as possible. Our office staff has been trained to assist you. Your information will be relayed to the doctor and your question answered at the earliest opportunity. Unless it is an emergency, your call will be answered after scheduled patients are seen.
All prescriptions must be requested during normal office hours when your complete medical record is available. If your prescription needs renewal, your pharmacist can contact our office for approval.
In case of an emergency after office hours, or on holidays or weekends, please call our office at 407 804 9199 and our answering service will reach Dr. Bitar or Dr. Sanchez .
OFFICE HOURS APPOINTMENTS
Our office is normally open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. On Friday, the office is open from 8:30 am to 3 pm. Appointments can be made and general questions answered during these times. To make an appointment, please give your name and a brief description of your medical problem. If your insurance requires an authorization to be seen, you are responsible for providing this prior to seeing Dr. Bitar or Dr. Sanchez.
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment time, please call at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time. This will assist us in meeting the needs of others. To avoid a missed appointment fee of $ 50.00, please call the office 24 hours prior to the appointment you will have to miss or change. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment.
We respect the value of your time and dislike long waiting periods in the office. Therefore, we strive to honor your appointment time. In the rare case of an unforeseen delay due to an emergency, we hope that you will understand.

FEES, PAYMENT, AND INSURANCE
We will fulfill our responsibility of filing Medicare and those Insurance Programs in which we participate. We request you be prepared to pay your insurance co-pay or those services not covered by insurance at the time of your appointment. Please remember that it is always your responsibility to see that your account is paid, regardless of insurance.
If you are scheduled for a procedure, please check with our office to verify insurance and to alert us if you need second opinions, pre admission certification or any other requirements your insurance may have.

We consider your medical information in this office a confidential and personal matter; therefore, you must sign a release of information form before we can give any information from our medical records to any third party.
